A year! I made it a year without smoking! Maybe I cheated by using Chantix but it worked for me. The dreams were hilarious! Now don’t get me wrong, there are times that I really want a cigarette. Like the times when my teen is tap dancing on my very last nerve. Or how about the times that I have chores crying with urgency to get done but my depression has a nice warm hug around me. Or even the times that I’m around people that are lighting cigarettes left and right and I’m sitting there holding a bottle of water like an adult (something that I wish I didn’t have to be at times).
I guess the point is, I had a goal a year ago and it’s been a year since I picked up a cigarette. I don’t have much in way of goals this year but focusing more on my new Norse heathen path, family, and maybe now and then get a doodle and some kind of writing done. Oh, and of course another job. But today, I’m just happy I made a year of something without quitting or giving up.
Have any of you completed a goal from a year ago? Either way, how do you feel about it? Are you going to try again? Are you going to try something else? Happy Monday everyone!
I’ve managed a year of blogging! Really chuffed with myself, as it was just for me and I stuck to it. Well done for giving up the smokes, I feel much better since I changed to vaping (I don’t really approve of vaping but what can you do?)
Keep on keeping on!!

Congrats on the year blog! My blog is a saving grace at times. At least you kicked the cancer stick habit 🙂 💜

Outstanding! Congratulations on quitting smoking. It’s one of the hardest habit to give up, but so worth it in the end. I’m very proud of you!

Well done, I’ve never been a smoker but I have experienced that teenager induced chocolate craving. Great achievement xx

Addictions are wicked tough. Kudos for going a year, especially with all that tap dancing and “warm hugs” and others smoking around you. That took grit. Big congrats.
