My first post on April 26th and after reading it I realized that I was in a pretty bad spot. I didn’t really have a direction for my blog at that time (still kind of don’t but getting there) and just needed a place to organize my thoughts in one place, one post at a time.

Today marks my 500th post since last year! WOW. I amazed myself at seeing that number and the fact that I stuck with blogging. I’m one of those people that get super excited about something, start it, then never finish it. This I have and it’s helped me in more ways than one. Yes, I still find my way into darkness but somehow find my way out or want to. I’ve grown in writing and painting and the doodles keep me on my toes. I quit smoking and now trying to lose some weight.

All of this has been done through encouragement from other bloggers in the blogging community and a little push on my part. I want to say thank you to everyone who has joined me on my journey and pushed in their own little way without knowing. More fun, challenges (both deliberate and not), and who knows what else. Thank you to my 500+ followers/readers and getting to the 500s with me.

  1. Congratulations and Well done. I am so glad you are not in such a bad place now. I am also the type of person who goes into something with lots of enthusiasm only to lose interest or move into something new. You are one of the bloggers that have kept me going. Thank you πŸ™‚
